I bet you're getting a million emails this
time of year, so I'll do my best to keep this short and sweet. I just
want to say that I had an absolute BLAST camping with the team last
week. What a special trip full of so much positivity! Friendships
deepened, confidence grew, and super sweet memories were made. I know
that everyone contributed to the success of the trip, but I just have to
take a moment and celebrate our chaperones: Keith, Valerie, and
Silvana! You made this such a smooth experience for the kids and for me.
I couldn't be more grateful.
Now there is a lot of excitement brewing here on campus. Here is a run-down of the last 7 school days:- 9:30 Everyone arrives at 9:30. Kids stay with their parents and gather in the sanctuary for closing remarks.
- 10:00 Team 3-4 graduation in the classroom for 3rd-4th graders and their families
- 10:40 8th grade graduation in the sanctuary (students sit with their families)
- 12:00 Closing reception/whole-school potluck (check the whole-school email for the dish you are to bring for this lunch)
In the classroom, we're counting down to graduation day by popping one balloon each day. The balloons are filled with a surprise announcement- something to make that day extra special. Yay!
